MILTON, Vt. — The Vermont Supreme Court is going on the road next week.

The justices will hear oral arguments in five cases at Milton High School on Thursday.

The Supreme Court normally does business in the Supreme Court building in Montpelier. For the past three years the court has held a term on the road at a Vermont high school.

The goal is to educate students about Vermont’s judicial system. On Thursday, students and teachers will be able to experience the court in action at the Milton High School auditorium.

The students will also get to interact with the justices during a question-and-answer session and during lunch at the school.

Officials say the public is welcome to attend the hearings.
