NORTH YARMOUTH— Registration is now open for North Yarmouth vendors who want to rent space at the Wescustogo Hall & North Yarmouth Community Center outdoor market.

The market will be will be open from June through September in the community center parking lot at 120 Memorial Hwy. for farmers, artisans and nonprofits. Registration for nonresidents begins Feb. 22.

“In light of the pandemic, providing a local resource to support vendors within our community has become a priority, and our parking lot is a great spot for folks to safely come together and support each other,” North Yarmouth Community Center Director Lisa Thompson said in a press release.

The outdoor market will be held Tuesdays starting June 1 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Vendors will be able to choose from one or two parking spots, and can register for individual nights or for the entire season.

For-profit organizations are $225 for one space for the whole season, and individual nights are $20 for each space. Nonprofits are charged a lower rate at $10 a night, or $150 for a whole season.

Spots are on a first-come-first-serve basis, with vendors able to choose their space when they pay.
