The University of New England Dental Clinic at the Stevens Avenue campus and Community Dental on Park Avenue, both in Portland, are two of the eight dental clinics across the state participating in the new Maine Veterans’ Dental Network.
The network, a partnership with Northeast Delta Dental, participating dental clinics and Federally Qualified Health Centers, was made possible through a $35,000 grant from Northeast Delta Dental. Starting May 15, the network will provide dental services to Maine’s veterans who otherwise could not afford them.
Services will be provided on a first-come first-serve basis and will be available until funding runs out.
