CUMBERLAND — Anna Cornell pitched a no-hitter as Cape Elizabeth shut out Greely 13-0 on Tuesday in softball.

Cornell walked two and struck out eight. Kathryne Clay went 4 for 4 with two doubles for the Capers (7-0), and Esme Song added three hits.

Lily Rawnsley had four strikeouts for Greely (3-5).

FREEPORT 17, YARMOUTH 4: The Falcons (1-7) scored 12 runs in the second inning and added five in the fourth to breeze past Yarmouth (0-8) at Freeport.

MORSE 4, MT. ARARAT 2: Camdyn Johnson struck out 17 and allowed just three hits as the Shipbuilders (6-4) edged the Eagles (2-6) at Bath.

Johnson walked two batters. Abby Carpenter paced the Shipbuilders with a two-run double in the third inning to give Morse the lead for good.

Megan Reed took the loss for Mt. Ararat, allowing three hits, striking out five and walking four.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 12, ST. DOMINIC 6: The Panthers (3-3) used a seven-run fifth inning to get past the Saints (2-4) at Yarmouth.

Jasmine Huntsman, Lauren Powers and Hayden Wienckoski all had multiple hits for NYA, with Wienckoski notching a triple.

LACROSSE

MARSHWOOD 14, SANFORD 3: Natalie Singer had four goals and two assists and Meagan Wentworth had three goals and three assists as the Hawks (7-1) cruised past the Spartans (0-4) at Sanford.

Fina Melina and Lindley Gori added two goals and two assists each. Lily Dupree made seven saves.

Kaylynne Hessler had two goals and an assist for Sanford.

GREELY 15, YORK 7: Elsa Dean-Muncie and Samantha Goldburg each put up four goals as the Rangers (6-2) beat the Wildcats (4-1) at York.

Carley Ferentz added three goals for Greely, with Charlotte Taylor getting two goals and four assists.

Rose Pavuk scored six goals for York. Kristen Leroux also scored and added an assist.

THORNTON ACADEMY 14, GORHAM 9: Grace Veroneau scored four goals, and Abby Brown and Hazel Stoddard added three each as Thornton Academy (4-4) downed the Rams (2-5) at Gorham.

Izzy White added two goals, and Morgan Bolduc and Faith Tillotson also scored for the Trojans.

Allie Light and Allie Myles scored twice each for Gorham, and Jill Morrill, Miranda Chasse, Gracie Forgues, Kate Dupuis and Giselle Doucette also had goals.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 19, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/POLAND 4: Lily Weinrich and Maggie Holt scored four goals each as the Panthers (6-2) handled Gray-New Gloucester (1-6) at Yarmouth.

Vy Tran added three goals and Emma Sharp had two for NYA. Andrea Smith had three goals and Cody Kluck had the other for the Patriots.

SCARBOROUGH 15, SOUTH PORTLAND 5: Five goals from Natalie Bilodeau led the Red Storm (7-2) to a win over the Red Riots (3-4) at Scarborough.

Paige Spooner chipped in with four goals and two assists. Darby Stolz put up three and one assist, with Kaya Conley scoring twice. Megan Donovan had a goal and two assists.

Barrett Backman, Zoe Baker, Abby Trefsger, Annie von Seggern and Kate von Seggern scored  for South Portland.

LEWISTON 13, MT. ARARAT 10: Shauna LeBlanc and Charlotte Gastonguay each had five goals as the Blue Devils (5-1) beat the Eagles (4-4) at Topsham.Brie Dube scored two goals and Ceci Miller had one goal in the win.

Maddie Daverio scored three times for Mt. Ararat and Maddie Kinney had two goals.

Elsa Daverio, Erin Harty, Audrey Machildron, Cecilia Greenleaf and Grace Phillips each scored a goal.
