I’m endorsing Heather Abbott for Yarmouth Town Council, as I have always found her very approachable and open to the needs of all Yarmouth citizens.
In my work with Yarmouth Aging in Place, I’m finding her to be an enthusiastic ally for our efforts. We spoke a few days ago about how we address issues for people of all ages and not just those with children in our wonderful schools. She agreed that we need to re-double our efforts to make Yarmouth more age-friendly. This is what she told me: “A diverse community is a healthy community and this includes our seniors. We must put more effort towards listening to our seniors and brainstorm ways to make Yarmouth a more welcome place for families to not only grow but stay.”
Casting a vote for Heather is a vote for all Yarmouth citizens.
