On Monday morning I attended the Memorial Day laying of the wreath ceremony at Monument Square, along with a small group of people, all of whom who appeared to be over 50.
Not one city official was present, nor were any City Council members or any of the 23 candidates running for the Charter Commission.
I would think that at least the mayor would show, but no, she did not.
I hope they all enjoyed the three-day weekend and caught up on their sleep.
