If you want an insight into the difference between the current Maine Republican and Democratic parties, I suggest you look at their official websites. The Democrats portray a future of progress and support voting for all citizens. The Republicans attack every Democrat, push Donald Trump’s lies of a false 2020 election and promote the racist Paul Le Page.
Both parties immediately ask for money. A shame on both. Give us, the citizens and voters, real information, not talking points and propaganda. Their national websites portray the same lines.
To quote the late I.F. Stone, the journalist who was Washington editor of The Nation magazine, “All governments are run by liars, and nothing they say should be believed.”
