Richard Frank Amoroso
SOUTH PORTLAND – Richard Frank Amoroso, 70, passed away May 9, 2021 in Scarborough.
Born in Portland to Leonard and Elaine Amoroso. Rick attended Portland schools and graduated from Portland High School in 1970.
In 1973 Rick joined the Portland Fire Department where he met many lifelong friends. After 20 years working for the Portland Fire Department, Rick retired from Engine #3.
Rick was talented in many trades from carpentry to plumbing and heating. Rick used these trades to help friends and family before and after his retirement.
Predeceased by parents Leonard and Elaine Amoroso; brothers Paul and Joseph.
Rick will be lovingly remembered by daughters Raylene Estabrook and husband James, Charlene Marinaro and Deborah Amoroso; grandchildren Francesca and Jacob; his siblings Robert Amoroso, John Amoroso and wife Diane, Teresa Amoroso, Sharon and husband Russell Hooper, Mary Amoroso and Karen Amoroso; good friend, Tom Foley and wife Karen; along with many nieces and nephews.
Remembrance will be held for friends and family on Friday, June 4 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 768 Cumberland St., Westbrook.
