Yesterday a blizzard blew into town, brandishing its wind and snow. The streets emptied. Who knew how much damage the stranger would inflict?

Today, we know. And a lot of us are outside moving mounds of snow from driveways, sidewalks and car roofs.

On the other hand, some of us aren’t leaving the house. Some of us are waiting for spring to come. When we know the stranger won’t be back.
