Nomination papers will be available Monday, March 7, in Falmouth, North Yarmouth and Cumberland.
In North Yarmouth, there are openings for three seats on the select board, two for three-year terms and one seat for one year. Two seats, one for three years and one for a year, are available on the SAD 51 Board of Directors. There are two, three-year terms open on the budget committee and one seat open for a five-year term on the cemetery commission. Nomination papers must be returned by April 14 to the town clerk’s office at Town Hall, 10 Village Square Road.
In Cumberland, two town council seats, both for three-year terms, are available, along with two SAD 51 Board of Director seats, also for three-year terms. Nomination papers must be returned to the town clerk’s office by 5 p.m. April 15, at 290 Tuttle Road.
In Falmouth, there are three open seats on the town council and two on the school board. The terms for both town council and school board are three years. Those interested in running need a minimum of 25 signatures and a maximum of 100 signatures. Nomination papers are due April 15 by 5 p.m. and can be dropped off at Town Hall at 271 Falmouth Road.
The primary elections are June 14.
