Republican extremists? Indeed. Removing access to birth control and safe and legal abortions sounds like forced pregnancy to me. In some states, Republican leadership have already tried to ban IUDs and other contraceptives. Will they try to ban condoms next?
Republicans are choosing to deny women safe and legal access to abortion and continue to cut funding for agencies and programs that assist children and families. They can’t have it all; what exactly do Republicans plan to do to support families? At this point, Senate Republicans seem content to leave women and children to fend for themselves.
