The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of another crash involving a motorcycle, the third motor vehicle mishap involving a motorcycle in as many days.

Tuesday’s collision took place in Raymond around 5:50 a.m. when a 1999 Kawasaki operated by 31-year-old Christopher Noble of Gray was struck by a 2008 Subaru Outback driven by Adam Serber of Casco.

The collision occurred near 1539 Roosevelt Trail in Raymond as Serber was making a left turn from The Hilltop Mini Mart to head eastbound, Capt. Kerry Joyce said in a statement.

Joyce said that Serber pulled out in front of the motorcycle, which was traveling westbound, and was unable to avoid striking the bike. Serber told investigators he did not see the bike, Joyce said.

Raymond Rescue transported Noble to Maine Medical Center in Portland with serious injuries, Joyce said.

Two New Hampshire residents were seriously injured Sunday night when their motorcycle collided with a compact SUV in Alfred. And a motorcycle operator from Waterford suffered serious injuries Sunday morning when he lost control of his bike and crashed in Harrison. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.
