A Lebanon teen died early Monday morning in a single-car crash in North Berwick.
Xavier Skidds, 19, was driving on Beech Ridge Road near Diamond Hill Road when his Ford Focus left the road and struck several trees, according to North Berwick police. Officers arrived at the scene at 4:45 a.m. and found Skidds trapped inside.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash and are asking anyone who saw it to contact the police department.
North Berwick Fire and Rescue and police officers from South Berwick also responded to the crash.
