Don’t be fooled. This election is about freedom; the freedom to vote, make our own health care decisions, marry who we love, live on a healthy planet, not fear gun violence, ensure our children are safe and learn about our history, etc. Democrats are fighting to preserve these freedoms. MAGA Republicans threaten these hard-fought freedoms and our way of life.
Inflation concerns everyone. Some may need support beyond what Democrats are already providing. However, inflation is a worldwide problem caused by an historic pandemic and corporations’ unjustified price hikes. There’s no quick fix.
During World War II, Americans planted “victory gardens” and rationed gasoline, sugar, butter, tires and more. Can we find the fortitude to face our challenges and protect our freedoms at the same time? Surely those who died in our nation’s bloody wars did not die in vain.
Protect all of us. Vote like everything’s at stake, because it is.
