MAGA extremism and all it stands for – fundamentalism, anti-democracy, violence, racism and its leader, Donald Trump, and its Maine expressions in Paul LePage and others – has been voted out.
The result reminds me of the lizard that has died but doesn’t know it yet. The neurological recognition is slow that its time is done.
This was a profound election. The idea that a lot of America can be fooled by falsehood has been shown to be a failed strategy. Putin-style propaganda can be seen for what it is by a majority of people. Let’s move on to a focus on policies that work and a world where we are all welcome at the table, working together to create a better world.
