Light up your Thursday night with a performance from Broadway singer and dancer Jessica Vosk, who will be stepping onto the Merrill Auditorium stage. The show is called “My Golden Age,” and it’s under the musical direction of Mary-Mitchell Campbell. You’ll hear songs by Broadway stalwarts Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Judy Garland, Bette Midler and several other legends. The evening will also feature numbers written by Grammy-winner Robert Lee Castleman that were commissioned specifically for Volk.

For a vibrant, knee-slapping night of tunes, head to One Longfellow Square for a performance by Brooklyn bluegrass act Damn Tall Buildings. The trio is Max Capistran (guitar), Avery “Montana” Ballota (violin) and Sasha Dubyk (double bass). They all sing, and their tight harmonies steer them through bluegrass, jazz, ragtime, country swing and modern-day singer-songwriter sounds. You can expect to hear plenty of tunes from the band’s latest album, “Sleeping Dogs.”

You won’t be wearing flip-flops (it’s February in Maine), but you will have a blast hearing the music of Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney and The Zac Brown Band. Tribute act Jimmy Kenny & The Pirate Beach Band will heat up a cold February night with the songs you love. They’ll be coming in hot from their home on Long Island, New York, ready to have you sing along and dance the winter blues away. Local rockers Toby McAllister & The Sierra Sounds will kick things off.
