The Maples bakery and cafe on Route 1 in Yarmouth closed its doors last week and is relocating to 1055 Lewiston Road in New Gloucester.
Owner Robin Ray had wanted to keep the Yarmouth location open in addition to starting a new shop in New Gloucester, but opted to shut down in Yarmouth after realizing the demands of two shops would be too great, she said.
Ray took over the business, then known as Maples Gelato, in 2015.
The New Gloucester location does not have an opening date yet, but the team is hoping it will be this month.
