Ever since I became an adult, I have no use for most politicians. I was a Republican until Trump came into politics. Some of the current Republicans make me sick to my stomach. How can the party say it is the law and order party? This is two-faced. On June 13, Trump was arrested over classified papers in his home. All Trump could say was that it was a witch-hunt by Democrats and that the Department of Justice was corrupt
All Trump does is cut down the FBI, DOJ, President Biden and anyone who speaks against him. Already, a Republican has said that they will delay any Biden appointment that needs Senate approval in retaliation to this arrest (Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance). If Republicans make up the law and order party, why don’t they stop the ranting and let the law work? Trump said the election was stolen, asked Georgia’s secretary of state to find 12,000 votes, tried to get Pence to not verify the votes and encouraged the storming of the Capitol.
By supporting Trump, some are putting the party before the country. Before this is over, there will be no Republican Party or no country. It’s time to stop supporting Trump and attacking Democrats at every turn; it’s time to work in Congress for the country, not to continue to protect Trump and the party.
