Quite a few years ago, this newspaper eliminated the gardening section in the Sunday newspaper. A very sad day for gardening enthusiasts.

Gardening may have waned pre-pandemic; however, it made a huge turnaround during the pandemic, when people were housebound and looking for something to do. People turned to gardening. What better than growing your own food (especially when numerous items were unavailable), flowers, planting fruit trees, berries or just working in your yard?

Now that the pandemic is behind us, gardening remains very popular. There is a large population out there that is anxious to learn more and become better gardeners. Gardening is always evolving. Keeping up with current information on techniques, products and resources is important.

This newspaper, by bringing back the gardening section, would be doing its readers a great service. Readers are anxiously awaiting this improvement in the newspaper.
