Rhylen Avery, Sanford: Avery rushed for three touchdowns in the Spartans’ 31-20 win over South Portland.

Nick Binette, Oxford Hills: Binette, a senior wideout, caught seven passes for 91 yards, including a 32-yard touchdown, as the Vikings bowled over Scarborough, 39-0. He also intercepted a pass.

Owen Chadwick, Gardiner: The sophomore’s efforts on the defensive side of the ball – including two sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery – were instrumental in the Tigers’ 20-0 shutout of Falmouth.

Tatum Doucette, Messalonskee: Doucette had a big game running and passing in the Eagles’ 39-21 win over Cony. The sophomore completed 17 of 31 passes for 231 yards and three touchdowns, and gained 131 yards on the ground.

Jace Negley, Leavitt: Negley, a standout senior lineman, tallied three sacks in the Hornets’ 63-13 win over York.

Kaden Paaso, Mountain Valley: Paaso scored three consecutive touchdowns – on runs of 13, 41 and 66 yards – in the opening quarter of the Falcons’ 74-20 win over Spruce Mountain. The senior finished with five carries for 151 yards.

Brady Plante, Old Orchard Beach: Plante threw three touchdown passes, two to Riley Provencher and one to Trot Moody, as the Seagulls improved to 3-0 with a 68-0 win at Boothbay.

Austin West, Kennebunk: West ran 14 times for 119 yards and two touchdowns to lead a balanced rushing attack as the Rams defeated Westbrook, 35-0, to improve to 3-0.
