Evelyn Agrodnia had three assists in the first half as the Cape Elizabeth girls’ soccer team beat Brunswick 3-1 in an interclass showdown on Saturday in Cape Elizabeth. (9-1) beat the Dragons (7-3) in an interclass showdown in Cape Elizabeth.
Noelle Mallory and Hailey Gorham scored to give Cape (9-1) a 2-0 lead. Molly Tefft made it 2-1 for Brunswick (7-3), before Mallory scored her second goal.
Juliana Morin made 14 saves for Brunswick. Ellis Piper stopped seven shots for Cape Elizabeth.
FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Eden True scored on a header to give the Raiders (3-7) an early lead in their win over the Seagulls in Old Orchard Beach.
Lilia Vishnyakov added a goal for Fryeburg Academy, which also took advantage of an own goal.
Sarah Davis stopped 10 shots for Old Orchard Beach.
WINDHAM 2, SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Stella Jarvais had a pair of first-half goals for the Eagles (5-3) in their win over the Red Riots (3-3-2) in Windham.
Marina Basset scored for South Portland.
Ameila Burton-Fowler stopped 12 shots for the Red Riots, with Libby Hartwell and Ale Hidell recorded one save apiece for the Eagles.
WAYNFLETE 3, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: The Flyers (6-4) built a 3-0 lead in the first half on goals by Lucy Hart, Naomi Rice, and an own goal in a win over the Patriots (3-7) in Gray.
Ayla Stutzman made four saves for the Flyers, while Abby Joyce stopped six shots for the Patriots.
Waynflete held a 11-10 edge in shots on goal as well as a 10-2 advantage on corner kicks.
MT. BLUE 5, CAMDEN HILLS 0: Mikayla Wilcox scored twice as the Cougars (7-2) beat the Windjammers (3-5-1) in Farmington.
Bree Griffin added a goal and two assists, while Lily Huntley and Kali Judkins also scored for Mt. Blue. Grace Allen and Summer Sawyer each had an assist.
Gwen Lesperance had four saves for Mt. Blue and Abby Strout had four saves for Camden Hills.
YARMOUTH 3, MT. ARARAT 1: The Clippers (8-1) recovered from a 1-0 halftime deficit by scoring three second-half goals in a win over the Eagles (5-3-1) in Yarmouth.
Kadin Davoren scored unassisted 3:24 into the second, Taylor Oranellas converted a free kick midway through the half and Brooke Boone added some insurance following an assist from Aine Powers with 12:44 left.
Kayleigh Wagg scored from Jaylen Jensen 8:31 into the game for Mt. Ararat.
Avery Buchanan made three saves for Yarmouth. Calista Kinney stopped seven shots for Mt. Ararat.
FIELD HOCKEY
CHEVERUS 6, BIDDEFORD 0: Seven players scored as the Stags (7-0) beat the Tigers (6-3) in Biddeford.
Mackenzie Cash, Lucy Johnson, Joey Pompeo, Zoey Radford, Sydney Brunelle and Sophia St. John all scored.
Cadence Goulet stopped 18 shots for Biddeford, while Ellie Skolnekovich recorded eight saves for Cheverus.
CONY 4, YORK 0: Elise Cunningham had a hat trick as the Rams (8-0) beat the Wildcats (6-3-1) in York.
Abby Morrill also scored for Cony. Maci Freeman, Jaelyn Lenko, Natalie Dube and Caroline Hendrickson each had an assist.
Natalie Dickson stopped 13 shots for York.
MT. ARARAT 2, FREEPORT 2: Audrey Marchildon scored on a pass from Maddy Sweet with 1:45 to play as the Eagles (6-2-1) rallied to secure a tie against Falcons (6-2-1) in Freeport.
Lydia Hiltz scored early in the fourth quarter to give Mt. Ararat the lead. Reed Proscia and Sophia Bradford answered to give Freeport the lead.
Danika Siatras had eight saves for the Eagles, while Maddie Kryzak turned aside 14 shots for the Falcons.
YARMOUTH 2, BRUNSWICK 0: Sophie Smith and Madison Wiles scored in the second quarter, Quincey Schnee finished with two saves and the Clippers (9-0) defeated the Dragons (2-7) in Yarmouth.
Ella Duchette stopped 12 shots for Brunswick.
The Spartans (3-4) scored three times in the second half and went on to defeat the Hawks (4-5) in Sanford.
SANFORD 3, MARSHWOOD 1: Sadie Sevigny scored from Ellie Davis, and Audrey Payeur put in a direct shot from the top of the circle in the third quarter. Lili Lam made it 3-0 55 seconds into the fourth quarter.
Erika Parker scored for Marshwood with 5:08 remaining.
Megan Sheppard had four saves for Sanford, while Makayle Coy stopped 11 shots for Marshwood.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 82, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Wesley Gallant had four rushing touchdowns, with a long of 68 yards in the first quarter, as the Seagulls (5-0) beat the Hawks (2-3) in Old Orchard Beach.
Brady Plante threw for three touchdowns for Old Orchard Beach. Riley Provencher had a 33-yard touchdown run, a scoring catch and a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown.
TRAIP ACADEMY 42, MT. VIEW 6: Seamus Berry ran for 99 yards and a touchdown, and added a 60-yard punt return for a score as the Rangers (1-4) downed the Mustangs (0-5) in Kittery.
JV Blanco had a pair of rushing touchdowns, while Phin Fifield had two receiving touchdowns for Traip.
FRYEBURG ACADEMY 27, CHEVERUS 7: Cohen Carter threw three first-half touchdown passes as the Raiders (4-1) beat the Stags (4-1) in Portland.
Logan Walton caught TD passes of 75 and 4 yards, while Freddie Francis had a 43-yard scoring catch.
Malik Sow added a 5-yard TD run for Fryeburg.
Matthew Baker had a 5-yard TD run for Cheverus.
YARMOUTH 46, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 38: Michael McGonagle ran for four touchdowns to lead the Clippers (5-0) over the Falcons (2-3) in Yarmouth.
McGonagle had two long TD runs of 65 and 64 yards, and two short of 2 and 6 yards.
Kaden Paaso returned two kickoffs for touchdowns, one for 82 yards, the other 69. Paaso also had a 63-yard scoring run as the Falcons tried to claw back with four second-half touchdowns.
BOYS’ SOCCER
WINDHAM 5, MARSHWOOD 1: Nick Marion scored four times as the Eagles (9-0-1) beat the Hawks (1-7-1) in South Berwick.
Luke Cunniffe also scored for Windham.
Braeden Gagnon scored for for Marshwood.
KENNEBUNK 1, PORTLAND 0: Devin Roy scored from Theo Pow with about seven minutes left to lift the Rams (6-3-1) over the Bulldogs (7-1-1) at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland.
Dylan Jones stopped 10 shots for the Rams, while Calvin Hale made two saves for Portland.
FALMOUTH 3, BIDDEFORD 2: Alex Findlay, Sam Yoon and Simon Wissink scored for the Navigators (4-3-2) in their win over the Tigers (2-7) in Falmouth.
Kristopher Rankin and Huseen Saad scored for Biddeford.
Nathan McLaughlin made 14 saves for Biddeford. Caden Berry stopped four shots for Falmouth.
