If you live in Maine and have experienced a winter storm, you will need to notice your vehicle. It will be covered in snow at some point in the winter.
For example, with the storm that we just had, I witnessed many customers at a grocery store the next day. Some of their cars were still covered in snow – the hood, the roof and, most of all, the rear and front lights.
Snow brushes are not very expensive, and even household brushes can be used to wipe off the snow. It is for your safety and the safety of the poor person following you, who will end up with your snow on their windshield, hood, etc.
Please clean off your cars. Just walk around your car while it is warming up and take a brush to it, please.
