While I was an EMT on the Scarborough Rescue several years ago, Mike Edes was a police officer in town during some of that time, and I want to say what a privilege it was to work with him during some difficult moments.
Mike was a caring and compassionate officer who demonstrated the utmost in professionalism.
When I found out that he had moved on to the Maine State Police a few years later, it did not surprise me at all, as I knew what an asset he would be for them, and for the citizens of Maine. He did not disappoint.
Now that Mike is running for Cumberland County sheriff, I highly encourage people to give him their votes in the Democratic primary, as I know he’ll work diligently to fulfill his duties and keep Cumberland County safe for all of us.
