It’s a good thing we have investment advisers like J. Dwight to set the world’s scientists straight about global warming (“The Biggest Con Job in the History of Man,” Dec. 24-26). Dwight apparently feels that the scientists who put men on the moon, mapped the human genome, split the atom and can determine the composition of a star millions of light years away are not capable of measuring the effect of the billions of tons of carbon dioxide we pour into our fragile atmosphere, and are engaged in a global conspiracy to make us think they can. Perhaps for his next column Dwight can go after the so-called scientists who have been flogging the old “the Earth is round and it orbits the sun” hoax.
