Maine U.S. Senate candidate Rick Bennett, a Republican, raised a $108,000 in his first month in the race, according to his campaign.
Bennett, the former Maine Senate president, also named Brent Littlefield, best known as Gov. LePage’s political strategist, as his campaign consultant.
He also added a couple of high-profile lobbyists to his campaign team.
