AUGUSTA (AP) — The Governor’s Energy Office says the price of heating oil in Maine has held steady over the past weeks.
The statewide average cash price for No. 2 heating oil was $2.28 per gallon this week. That’s up a penny over the last week.
The statewide price of kerosene went up one cent, to $2.81, while propane prices went up three cents to $2.46 per gallon.
The state found the highest heating oil price was $2.60, while the lowest price was $2. Northern Maine had a higher average at $2.38 per gallon.
The numbers reflect a Jan. 16 survey.
