Frank Pease from the Knights of Columbus St. Thomas Council and George Watson from the Knights of Columbus Springvale Council presented Gervaise Flynn, assistant executive director of Waban with a check from their combined Tootsie Roll Drive for $1784.60 as a kickoff for the 45th Annual Waban Telethon to take place on March 19. This will be a celebration year for Waban, marking the 50th year of providing services for children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
