FREEPORT — Eight students from Freeport High School will be among 136 student-athletes taking part in the Western Maine Conference Student Athlete Leadership Summit on Friday.
Virginia Moore, Hannah Williams, Courtney Broderick, Jessie Gray, Eli Fox, Peter LaMagna, Ryder Bennell and Brady Lafrance represent the Falcons at the summit, which runs from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph’s College in Standish.
The summit is designed to provide an opportunity for athletes to recognize the importance of student leadership, help students identify qualities of good leadership, provide an opportunity for round-table discussions with other student-athletes in the WMC and assist in developing connections from other schools.
