BRUNSWICK — Tom Peterson of Brunswick recently joined Gorham Savings Bank as a loan officer.

Peterson has an extensive history of originating loans with more than 13 years at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and has worked for Countrywide Home Loans and Sears Mortgage.

He began his career in banking with Maine Savings and has been active in the Androscoggin Valley Board of Realtors and the Merrymeeting Board of Realtors, where he was named Realtor affiliate of the Year.

Peterson also acted as past president of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Maine.
