BATH — Isaiah Cogswell pitched six strong innings as BMDA downed Smith-Tobey 11-5 in recent Bath Cal Ripken Baseball action.

Cogswell struck out 13 and allowed five hits.

Offensively, BMDA was paced by two hits from Joey Cholish, who added four RBIs. Cameron Footer had two hits and an RBI, while Nate Ewald, Isaiah Cogswell and Cameron Footer each scored two runs.

For Smith-Tobey, Thomas Warren pitched two scoreless innings, striking out five, and Jackson Walker added two scoreless frames on five strikeouts.

Offensively, Smith-Tobey was lead by Cam Harrison, who pounded two doubles with an RBI, and Thomas Warren added a triple and an RBI.

In a 9-6 win over Ames Supply, Lucas Groat contributed two scoreless innings of pitching and struck out five.

Groat helped his own cause with two hits and two RBIs, while Cholish chipped in two hits and pair of RBIs.
