TOPSHAM — Mt. Ararat High School’s honors biology students have conducted environmental research at the Cathance River Nature Preserve and will present their findings to the public at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, at Topsham Public Library.

The students will present the findings of long-term environmental research they’ve undertaken throughout the preserve, focused on topics including vernal pools, forest inventory growth, mammals, water quality, invertebrate sampling, salamanders, and deer yards. Students will be on hand to answer questions from the public. Research was done with assistance from local scientists.
