AUGUSTA (AP) — Maine police say a 3-year-old girl has been located after an Amber Alert that included the first notifications on cellphones as well as notifications on local TV channels.

Police had said the youngster, Lenore Wilson, was believed to be with an Augusta woman who occasionally cared for her. Police say the girl was last seen in an Augusta apartment Monday night when there was a medical emergency involving her mother, who was hospitalized.

Police say the girl was located late Tuesday afternoon and taken to the Augusta Police Department. No further details were immediately available.
