LISBON FALLS — Ari Kahler had three points to lead the Lisbon High School field hockey team to a 4-0 Mountain Valley Conference victory over Hall-Dale on Friday.

Kahler scored a goal and dished out two assists, with Chase Collier, Kate Philbrick and Molly Nicholson chipping in one goal apiece. Collier and Nicholson also picked up one assist each.

Molly French had 18 saves for Hall-Dale (1-6), while Lisbon (6-1) netminder Stevie Charest turned aside two shots.

The Greyhounds visit Winthrop today at 4 p.m.

Ellie Fitzgerald scored all three goals as the visiting Yachtsmen put an end to Freeport’s four-game winning streak with a Western Maine Conference win.

After a scoreless opening frame, Fitzgerald scored six minutes into the second.

But, Freeport (4-3) tied the game on a Dani Foster goal four minutes later.

Falmouth (5-2) went ahead with 12:06 remaining, and Fitzgerald completed her hat trick three minutes later.

The Falcons are slated to visit Lake Region on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
