YORK — Police looking for a missing a 13-year-old girl in New Hampshire have found her in York, with a 19-year-old-man who has been charged with unlawful sexual contact.
New Hampshire State Police responded to a home in Boscawen early Friday to a report that the girl was missing. She was last seen about 8 p.m. Thursday.
Police said the girl and the man, identified as Alex Denis of Goffstown, drove to Maine, where he was arrested and awaits extradition to New Hampshire. State police are seeking a warrant for Denis on a charge of kidnapping.
Jail officials couldn’t provide the name of a defense attorney to comment on the charges.
