Here we go again. People either come here from out of state or move into an area because they like it – and once there, they want to change it. I have seen this too many times, and it makes me mad.
The Spurwink Rod & Gun Club is a perfectly good example (“Cape Elizabeth gun club faces continuing opposition,” Feb. 15). The home buyers knew it was there and they chose to move in.
When is someone going to put their foot down and say, “If you don’t like it, then get out and leave us alone?”
These people are not going to let it rest until there is nothing left, and then they will go someplace else and do it again.
It doesn’t matter if it’s that, or the dress code in schools, or changing the name of sports teams – this political correctness has to stop. And someone has to say, “Enough is enough.”
