PORTLAND — Traffic on the the Maine Turnpike has returned to normal after a crash at the northbound Exit 48 off ramp in Portland Monday morning.
The Maine Turnpike Authority issued an alert at 9:07 a.m. urging motorists to use caution because of the presence of emergency vehicles on the exit ramp.
The alert was lifted about a half-hour later.
