The 2016 Lewiston High School graduate and starting defender on the Blue Devils’ 2015 boys soccer state championship team had been in a coma after being hit by a car while on a religious trip in Saudi Arabia.

Abdullahi, a 2016 Lewiston High School graduate and a key defender on the 2015 state championship team, was hit by a car while walking on the sidewalk during a religious trip with his mother and brother.
