Office Administrator / Sales Assistant – The Coastal Journal
MaineToday Media, publisher of the Coastal Journal, and Maine’s largest media company, is looking for a top-notch office administrator / sales assistant. This role supports the Coastal Journal advertising sales staff with related sales procedures: entering advertising sales orders and running revenue reports, seeking leads, and assisting with inside sales calls for classifieds.
In addition to supporting the sales team, this position handles day-to-day tasks such as reception, mailings, and other office related duties as assigned. The sales role reports to the Regional Advertising Director for all sales related functions, with day-to-day office administrative, clerical and reception tasks, and the individual’s time and attendance being managed by the Coastal Journal editor.
The successful candidate will have 2+ years’ experience working in a front office capacity. Candidates will have superior customer service skills, strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, computer skills, be able to multitask, meet deadlines, and have a strong interest in sales.
