Reporter – The Morning Sentinel
The Morning Sentinel newspaper is seeking an enterprising and energetic journalist to join its reporting staff in coverage of the greater Waterville area. This reporter will cover general interest news while devoting time to important regional issues and enterprise projects.
This position requires excellent reporting and writing skills and the right candidate must be comfortable in a digital-first environment and a savvy user of social media. The reporter must also have a sense of urgency that compels him or her to beat the competition on breaking news and the skills to round out story with thorough reporting and compelling writing. Applicants must also be willing to work nights and weekends.
