Ty Gibson, 15, who was on the boat, estimated the fuel tank was about half full when the fire ignited. He shouted "Fire" and then jumped off the boat.

Christopher Gibson, 43, who with his wife, Crissy, 42, owns the boat and made sure everybody was off and headed toward safety. Crissy, who had been ashore, jumped on a personal watercraft and picked up two of the boys in the water.
