Chretien, who runs Roger's Barber Shop on Main Street, works on Cline's hair. He is now Wiscasset's police chief, but Cline has been going to Chretien for haircuts since 1986 when he use to live in York County. He stops in for a haircut when he is in town to visit family and friends. "I'm a people person, that's what I enjoy,'Chretien said. "I enjoy being around people."

August will mark 50 years of cutting hair in Biddeford for Chretien. Right after graduating from St. Louis High School in Biddeford he attended Hanson's Barber School in Lewiston.
