Group leaders represent agencies and organizations that solicit applications from clients and community members who need assistance to access the fund.

Group applications are due early in the season. After we process the applications and pack the gifts, group leaders pick them up at our warehouse and bring them to distribution centers that are convenient for the recipients. There are many partners in this effort, including trucking companies and social service organizations. These groups do good work and are a joy to work with each year!

Contact us at [email protected] for information about groups in our service area.

We serve children in need from infancy through age 16 who live in York, Cumberland, Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and Androscoggin counties. Parents or legal guardians may seek assistance by downloading, printing and filling out the 2022 Toy Fund Non-Group Application.

Send completed applications to:

Press Herald Toy Fund
PO Box 7310
Portland, ME 04112

Send an email that includes your full name and address to [email protected] to receive an application by mail.

Due to COVID-19, there will be NO place to pick up or drop off applications or donations.

We encourage people to apply as soon as possible so that the applications can be processed as late applications cannot be honored.

The ABSOLUTE DEADLINE this year is November 30.

We’ll process your application and if you qualify, we’ll contact you starting mid-November explaining where and when to pick up the gifts. Gifts must be picked up as scheduled. The location, days and hours of operation will be included in the letter or phone message. There will be strict COVID-19 measures to follow.
