A crack cocaine dealer from Biddeford who dealt drugs in the Lewiston area was sentenced on Monday in U.S. District Court in Portland to serve 70 months in federal prison.

Garrett Griffin, 25, was arrested on June 16, 2014, when federal agents used an informant to arrange a drug buy from Griffin and intercepted him when he arrived to make a delivery, according to court records.

Griffin pleaded guilty before Judge Nancy Torresen on Jan. 29 to a charge of possession of crack cocaine and heroin with intent to distribute.

The judge also sentenced Griffin to serve three years of supervised release after completion of his prison term.
