A methamphetamine lab was discovered Wednesday afternoon at an apartment at 149 Pine St. in Bangor, according to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Bangor Police.

Two men were taken into custody and several people were evacuated from the multi-unit building when the MDEA’s lab team cleared the substance from the apartment.

Wednesday’s investigation was the 10th time the MDEA has responded to a meth-related incident this year.
