The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and Boothbay Region Land Trust are joining together to offer a lesson on trees. Join Tracey Hall of the land trust for a walk around the gardens at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens as she investigates the complex relationship between wildlife and trees. To register call 883-6475.

The Androscoggin Land Trust is again working with area sponsors to bring their paddle series to the river. Join the land trust at Mill Street Cafe for drinks after paddling on a Thursday night. Join York Audubon leader Andy Aldrich in looking for fall migrants at Sanford's ponds. These ponds are some of the most productive sites in southern Maine for viewing all types of waterfowl as well as some other birds. More than 200 bird species have been seen there.
