PERU — Authorities say at least one person has died in a vehicle crash on Route 108 near the Peru-Rumford town line.
The Lewiston Sun Journal reports it’s believed a Dixfield man in his early 20s was killed in the crash early Thursday and that several others were injured.
Police blocked off a long section of Route 108 at about 3 a.m.
Officers from the Oxford County Sheriff’s Department and Rumford police remained at the scene later Thursday morning. They did not release any names of people in the crash.
