A crowd watches as Bubbilicious, Bazooka and Licorice, three young harbor seals, are released by the University of New England’s Marine Animal Rehabilitation Center on Saturday at Granite Point in Biddeford Pool.

The harbor seals enter the water. All six pups were under a week old when they were found and are now approximately 3 months old. They were given special care, since some were born prematurely, and were then taught how to eat fish so they would gain enough weight to be released.

Skittles, Snickers and Pixie Stick are among the six harbor seals released Saturday.
