He knew the colleges, spent time with each student and was noted as the best adviser in college placement. He suffered a stroke two years ago and is no longer consulting, but the vote tally shows his work has not been forgotten.

It all started on four acres in Scarborough in 1941. Known first as the “Red Hen Poultry Farm,” the business was all about fresh poultry and eggs.
