Scarborough’s Chris Kipp avoids a Brunswick defender in late-game action at the Class A state championship game at Portland’s Fitzpatrick Stadium on Saturday. Kipp had three goals in the game, the biggest coming about halfway through the fourth quarter, when Kipp scored to bring the Red Storm even with the Dragons, setting up late-game heroics from Jake Barrett and Ryan Hunt to secure the 8-6 win and the state championship for the Red Storm.
