There was big excitement in Maine this week as Red Sox slugger David Ortiz came to Hadlock Field to join the Portland Sea Dogs for a three-game rehabilitation assignment. During his first game in Portland Monday night, Ortiz got a huge ovation from the sold-out crowd every time he stepped to the plate.
